Privacy policy.

1. What this covers

This policy covers the personal data Strontium ([legal name of the company], [address], Canada) handles when you visit strontium.ai, create an account at app.strontium.ai, use the API, or write to us. It does not cover other sites we link to.

2. What we collect

Account. Your name, email address, organization name and password (stored hashed), or the identifier your sign-in provider (such as Google) gives us.

Billing. Top-ups and the balance they create, the jobs charged to it, and the invoices. Card details go directly to our payment provider, Stripe; we see the last digits and the card type, not the number.

API usage. For every job: the model, the parameters you sent, the webhook address, when it was created and when it finished, the units used and the price, and whether it succeeded. API keys, their names and when they were last used.

Content you submit. The inputs you send to a model (text, images, audio, video) and the outputs it produces, stored so we can deliver them to you and show them in the app.

Website. Our servers log the address and time of each request, as every web server does. The site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics; your theme choice (light or dark) stays in your browser. If you write to us through a form or by email, we keep the message.

3. What we use it for

To run the service: to sign you in, run your jobs, deliver results to your webhook, meter and bill them, and show you your usage. To support you and reply to you. To keep the service secure, detect abuse and enforce our Terms of service. To send you service messages (a receipt, a low balance, a change to the terms). We send marketing email only if you asked for it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your inputs or outputs to train models unless you have agreed to that separately.

4. Who we share it with

Companies that process data for us, under contract and only for the purposes above: Stripe (payments), Postmark (email delivery), the cloud providers that host the service and store your content [Amazon Web Services, region], and the infrastructure the models run on. Authorities, when the law requires it. A buyer, if Strontium or the service is sold, under the same commitments.

Some of these providers are outside Canada. Where data leaves the country, we rely on contracts that require equivalent protection.

5. How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists and [12] months after it closes. Billing records for [7] years, as tax law requires. API usage records for [12] months. Inputs and outputs for [30 days] after a job, then deleted; you can delete them earlier from the app. Server logs for [30] days. Support messages for [2] years.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your account details, rotate or revoke API keys, and delete content from the app. You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it or to stop a particular use, and you can withdraw a consent you gave: write to support@strontium.ai and we answer within 30 days. Canadian law (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, the GDPR give you these rights, including the right to complain to your privacy authority.

7. Security

Data travels encrypted (TLS) [and is stored encrypted at rest with our cloud providers]. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and [passwords and API secrets are stored hashed]. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

8. Cookies

The website uses no cookies and no analytics. The app sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to protect its forms; none for tracking.

9. Children

The service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top says when. For a material change we tell account holders by email. Questions, requests and complaints: support@strontium.ai, or by post at [address].
