  2. Content guidelines

Content guidelines.

What you can and can't publish, send or advertise, each platform's own rules, the strike system and how to appeal.

Effective date: November 1, 2026

1. Why These Guidelines Exist

Strontium AI publishes posts, sends messages, runs ads and updates websites on your behalf, and sometimes on behalf of AI assistants you authorize. Everything sent through the Platform reflects on you, on us and on our relationship with the platforms we connect to. These guidelines explain what you can do, what you can't, and what happens if something goes wrong. They form part of our Terms of Service.

2. What's Not Allowed Anywhere

2.1 Spam and manipulation

Don't use Strontium AI to:

  • post the same or almost the same content again and again, whether to one account or many
  • blast out large numbers of near-identical posts or messages in a short time
  • post to communities, servers, groups or boards where the content is off-topic or unwelcome
  • fake popularity, such as buying, trading or automating likes, follows, reviews or comments
  • push ads, affiliate links or promotions far beyond what your audience asked for
  • hide where a link goes, for example with a shortened URL that leads somewhere unrelated
  • post bait whose only purpose is to game a platform's ranking system
  • run a bot or automated account without the labelling the platform requires

2.2 Illegal and harmful material

Never publish, send or advertise anything through Strontium AI that:

  • breaks the law where it is posted, sent or viewed
  • threatens, bullies or harasses a person or group
  • makes false and damaging claims about someone, or is designed to defraud or scam
  • carries malware, phishing links or other malicious code
  • uses someone else's copyrighted work, trademark or likeness without permission
  • sexualizes, exploits or endangers children in any way
  • encourages violence, self-harm or suicide
  • impersonates another person, brand or organization

2.3 AI-generated content

If an AI assistant drafts, publishes or sends content through your account, you are responsible for it as if you had written it yourself. Check AI output for accuracy before it goes live, and follow each platform's rules on labelling AI-generated or synthetic media.

3. Extra Rules by Channel

3.1 Messaging (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, iMessage)

  • Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and keep a record of that consent.
  • Honour every opt-out request promptly, and make it easy to opt out.
  • Say clearly who the message is from.
  • Follow anti-spam laws that apply to you and your recipients, such as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and TCPA, and the GDPR.
  • Use approved message templates where a channel requires them, such as WhatsApp Business.

3.2 Advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, X, OpenAI, Reddit)

  • Ads must be truthful and must not make misleading claims about products, prices or results.
  • Follow each ad network's advertising policies, including its rules for restricted categories such as health, finance, alcohol and politics.
  • You are responsible for the budgets, targeting and spend of campaigns created through Strontium AI, including campaigns an AI assistant creates for you.

3.3 Websites and stores (Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Webflow)

  • Product details, prices and claims you publish must be accurate.
  • Don't publish pages designed to trick visitors, such as fake login pages, fake reviews or hidden redirects.
  • Follow the hosting platform's acceptable use rules.

3.4 CRM and productivity (HubSpot, Google, Microsoft)

  • Only send email or update records you are authorized to send or change.
  • Don't use connected mailboxes or contact lists to send bulk unsolicited email.

4. Each Platform's Own Rules

Every platform you connect has its own rules, and they apply to everything you do there through Strontium AI. Where a platform's rules are stricter than ours, the stricter rule wins.

5. Using Strontium AI Well

The Platform works best for people who:

  • publish original, useful content their audience actually wants
  • use scheduling to stay consistent, not to flood feeds or inboxes
  • tailor each post, message or ad to the channel it is going to
  • use it for genuine business, brand or creator communication
  • post only material they own or have permission to use
  • keep volume reasonable and within their plan's limits

6. How We Enforce These Guidelines

Most problems are handled on the individual connected account where they happened, so one mistake doesn't take down your whole Strontium AI account.

6.1 Strikes on a connected account

  1. Strike one: we notify you and explain what was wrong.
  2. Strike two: the connected account is paused for 7 to 30 days.
  3. Strike three: the connected account is permanently removed from Strontium AI.

While a connected account is paused, nothing is published or sent through it and its scheduled items are put on hold. Your other connected accounts keep working, and the paused account's data is kept until the pause ends.

6.2 Action on your whole account

We may pause or close your whole Strontium AI account straight away, without a warning first, if we see:

  • abuse repeated across several connected accounts
  • illegal content
  • coordinated fake or inauthentic activity
  • spam serious enough to put our access to a platform at risk
  • anything that threatens the security of the Platform or its users
  • new accounts set up to get around an earlier removal, or repeat violations after warnings

If your account is paused, all scheduled items stop, API access is switched off and connected accounts are disconnected. Your data is kept for the length of the pause.

If your account is closed permanently, you lose access, your scheduled items are deleted, any subscription time left is not refunded, and you may not open a new account.

7. Appeals and Getting Reinstated

If you think we got it wrong, email support@strontium.ai with:

  • the email address and user ID on your account
  • why you believe the decision was a mistake
  • any screenshots or context that support your case

We aim to reply within 3 to 5 business days, and our decision on appeal is final.

If a connected account or your whole account is paused, you can ask to be reinstated after you have removed or fixed the content that caused it. Reinstatement depends on how serious the problem was and isn't guaranteed.

8. Report a Problem

Seen someone misusing Strontium AI? Email support@strontium.ai with who it is, what they did and any evidence you have.
